A 7-Year Saga of Neglect: The "Fate Story" of Doddamara Road
It is tragic when citizens are forced to compile a "Fate Story" just to prove their struggle for basic amenities. The residents of Doddamara Road, Rayasandra (Anekal Taluk) have submitted over 35 letters since 2016 to every possible authority—from the Panchayat PDO to the MLA and the Deputy Commissioner.
The result? Zero infrastructure development.
Mithilesh Kumar, Founder of Civic Opposition of India, has brought this detailed dossier to light. It documents a broken loop of assurances:
No Drainage: Waterlogging has completely destroyed the road.
No Tarmac: The stretch hasn't seen a proper road in over 10 years.
Health Hazards: Unchecked garbage has led to a severe pig and stray dog menace.
Broken Promises: Officials visited in 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023. Every time, promises were made; every time, they were broken.
As Mithilesh points out, "This isn't just administrative delay; it is a denial of dignity to the 10,000+ residents who pay taxes but live in conditions unfit for commuting."
We demand a permanent solution: Underground drainage connected to water bodies and a durable tarmac road. No more visits. We need action.
